Lift your hands and give God quality thanks tonight. Bless Him for His manifold blessings and His goodness upon our lives.
Thank Him for His Word, thank Him for His Spirit. Cry before The Lord, asking for an encounter.
Pray: Lord, give me a destiny-defining visitation.
Tonight, make up your mind that you will not just be a spectator, by doing the following:
1. Listening, not just hearing.
2. Listening with the determination to practice what you are hearing. (Hebrews 4:2)
Active participation in the house of God requires; listening and not just hearing, and to listen, you must connect your hearing with purpose. Furthermore, you must listen with a strong determination to practice what you’re hearing.
”Whereas thou hast been forsaken and hated, so that no man went through thee, I will make thee an eternal excellency, a joy of many generations.“

Where people have said people like you don’t rise, God will shock them, this year. In the name of Jesus, your rising will be made manifest!

You will not be small this year, my God will expand and enlarge you. Your enemies will watch with shock and wonder as God lifts you!
Right before their eyes, my God will prepare a table for you!
You will be a living sign and a wonder. Men will sit down and your life will be a Scripture. They will marvel and wonder, how can God lift and bless a man like this?
You are a part of a ministry that is a sign and a wonder, May that gene flow through you, in the name of Jesus Christ!
The focus of tonight’s message is: To help us understand how to derive profit from Scripture.
The Bible, as commonly understood, comprises of 66 books, with 39 constituting the Old Testament and the remaining 27 forming the New Testament.
The Bible from a historic standpoint was written by over 40 authors. At least 36 are mentioned, over a period of 1,500 years.
”All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:“ 2 Timothy 3:16 KJV.
The Bible tells us that all Scripture is profitable (2 Timothy 3:16).
God prevailed upon the human authors of the Bible, so that while using their own styles of writing and despite the differences in their understandings and personalities, they still recorded what was intended by God.
When the Bible says “All Scripture was by God”, it does not mean that the Bible was dictated by God. It means it was guided and inspired by Him.
The central point of The Bible is God, His love for creation, man’s fall and his inadequacies, Jesus as the Saviour and only remedy, and the gospel and salvation in its entire scope/ramifications
The accuracy of The Bible is not in the flawlessness of its writings nor the personality of the authors, but in its ability to deliver God’s intent as far as the revelation of God, the revelation of Jesus, the revelation of man, and the revelation of salvation are concerned.
The attention of God in moving authors to write the Scripture, was not necessarily the accuracy of the statements written, but that the written words capture a sufficiency of information to help men know God, Jesus, man, and the plan of salvation.
If you use the Bible as a prosperity book, or as a marriage counseling book alone, or as a career book, you will find many things wanting.
The reason why many Believers do not understand Scripture is that many do not understand how Scripture should be studied.
Question: If the Bible is centered on the revelation of God, man’s state, Jesus, and salvation, can a believer use the Bible to understand other aspects of human issues?
Answer: Yes! There is a provision by God to make all Scripture profitable as a spiritual resource, to help man navigate other issues, albeit under certain conditions. (2 Timothy 3:16)
The Bible is profitable as a spiritual resource and capable of helping man, handle every other issue of life.

You have to read the Bible as a spiritual man to profit from it. The Bible demands that there must be a state you must assume, for it to be profitable to you. (Romans 8:6)
Every statement, expression and story in the Bible contains within it, lessons or principles that can cause The Believer to walk in victory. (Romans 15:4)
”That The God of our Lord Jesus Christ, The Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of His calling, and what the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of His mighty power,“ Ephesians 1:17-19 (KJV)
”For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.“ Romans 15:4 (KJV)
The Spirit of Revelation is the profit factor, in the Believers learning of Scriptures.
The Spirit of Revelation guides you into all truth because even though everything is written, everything is not truth.
”Howbeit when He, The Spirit of truth, is come, He will guide you into all truth: for He shall not speak of Himself; but whatsoever He shall hear, that shall He speak: and He will shew you things to come.“ John 16:13 (KJV)
Not everything is truth, but everything is written.
The Scripture was written for spiritual people.
What profits you is not the verse, story, personality used, and the dexterity of expression. What profits you is Light!
As open as The Bible is, there are seals.
You can only open the book, but only The Spirit of Revelation unlocks the seals, opening you up to mysteries.
What profits you is not the verse of the Scripture, it is the light in the Scripture.
The profiting of Scripture is only derived under the influence of The Spirit of revelation.
You don’t have to be blind to see wrongly, you can be misguided wrongly when you see wrongly.
The Holy Spirit breathing upon the Bible gives you light, helping you to know God, understand His eternal plan, and live an overall excellent spiritual life.
THE ASSIGNMENT OF THE SPIRIT OF REVELATION FOR THE BELIEVERS PROFITING
The Spirit of Revelation has a four-fold assignment in the life of the Believer, with respect to helping you derive profits from the Scripture and making your life victorious.
1). To give the Believer, Light from Scripture, and to connect the Believer to God’s Eternal plan (2 Timothy 3:14-15)
Light means lessons, mysteries, and principles. Not everything in the Bible is doctrine even though everything is profitable.
The light component from Scripture is what empowers you to become what Scripture says. (John 1:12)
The Spirit of Revelation guides your heart to the essence of every story, verse, and expression, captured within Scripture.
Absorbing the Scripture intellectually is not enough, the light component of Scripture is what empowers you to become what the Scripture says.
In order of priority, you must understand God, His plan, Jesus, salvation, yourself, and even your finances, to have total victory.
Your Christian experience must translate into productivity and advancement, causing individuals to see you as a person of value and see the value of being a Christian.
Nations are not transformed through blind fanaticism. You must translate your spiritual values and convictions into intelligent policies that provide value and produce profits for your world.
The Church is the light of the world. We are not a nuisance to society. God is helping our generation redefine the value of the Christian faith.
The Church is the Light of the world; we’re not a nuisance to civilization.
One of the importance of the Scripture is to translate spirituality that gives it a context of intelligence to provide value.
The end product of your Christianity is not fanatism, it is translating Spirituality into a tool of societal transformation.
Promotion comes when profit can be derived; when God can derive profit from your life, He lifts you, so that you can properly represent Him to your world.
When you have the orientation that represents the purposes of God, He will give you the influence.
Let The Spirit of Revelation breathe upon your spirit and mind, eroding that mediocre understanding and small-mindedness focused on self.
The gatekeepers that allow the free flow of the gospel are looking for a representation of Jesus Christ, because they are yet to see what translates spirituality into territorial transformation.
THE ASSIGNMENT OF THE SPIRIT OF REVELATION FOR THE BELIEVERS PROFITING
2. To help you draw out lessons or principles from Scripture that empower you to walk in total victory.
3. To inspire the mind of The Believer to birth thoughts and ideas that translate to productivity and advancement. (Isaiah 11:2-3, Job 32:8)
4. To activate the various prophetic dimensions in The Believer (dreams, visions, words of knowledge, prophecies) Joel 2:28-29, John 16:13, 1 Corinthians 2:9-10, 1 Corinthians 2:12
When God makes you a sign and wonder, a pointer for men to see God, the requirement is that you must stay close to God, so that you represent Him properly to the nations.
The focus of your study of Scripture should be the love of God, captured in the substitutionary sacrifice of Christ, for man (as the object), and the mercy plan of salvation.
Cry for a fresh baptism of The Spirit of Revelation.
Pray: By the Spirit of Revelation, Lord, help me to know You, to understand Your Prophetic plan and the program You have for mankind.
Pray: Lord, let the Spirituality in the Body of Christ translate to values that promote Jesus Christ and frontiers the values of the Kingdom.
Prayer for The Body of Christ: Lord, let the spirituality in The Body of Christ in Nigeria, Africa, and even globally, translate to profit and value, that our world can see.
Breathe upon us; let our fasting, praying, and Word study, translate into profit points that individuals (both saved and unsaved), systems, structures, and governments can profit from. Let it be translated to nation-building and territorial transformation, in the name of Jesus.
Every area of challenge in your life, I declare, this week, may you experience the hand of God there. May you experience the favour of God!
