Exceeding Great and Precious Promises by Apostle Joshua Selman

2 Peter 1:2-4, Matthew 5:16, John 15:8;16, Galatians 1:24, Acts 20:20, Jeremiah 3:15, Acts 20:32

2 Peter 1:2-4 (KJV)
2. Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord
3. According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:
4. Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

Three Biblical Platforms for Opening Closed Doors:

1. By the Use of the Right Key (Revelation 3:7)
2. By Knocking (Matthew 7:7-8, Revelation 3:20)
3. By Supernatural Power (Acts 16:25-27)
Acts‬ ‭16:25-27‬ ‭(KJV‬‬)
25. And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them.
26. And suddenly there was a great earthquake so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and everyone’s bands were loosed.
27. And the keeper of the prison awaking out of his sleep, and seeing the prison doors open, he drew out his sword, and would have killed himself, supposing that the prisoners had been fled.”
The Bible is a compendium of these three Spiritual Realities:
1. Promises
2. Principles
3. Prophecies
You can never manifest the reality of open doors using the keys in ignorance.
The kingdom of God functions on high-level spiritual illumination.
Doors open when the foundations that hold them are rattled with the right keys and knowledge.
A believer who is ignorant will remain defeated.
(Galatians 4:1, Lukes 2:52, Ephesians 4:18, Psalm 82:5-7, Hosea 4:6, John 16:12-13)
One of the primary assignments of the Holy Spirit is to guide us (as believers) into all truth. The Spirit of God is The Spirit of Truth.
(1 Corinthians 2:11-12)
Jesus wept.
John 11:35
In ignorance, the believer remains defeated, even though a Believer.
Ignorance is dangerous; It means the absence of light and sufficient knowledge.
(1 Corinthians 8:2)
“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:”
‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭1:3‬ ‭(KJV‬‬)
Two Spiritual Principles that Governs Engaging the Right Keys to Open Doors:
1. The knowledge of the spiritual provisions available to the believer in Christ.
(Ephesians 1:3, 1 Corinthians 2:12, 2 Peter 1:4)
Genesis‬ ‭12:2-3‬ ‭(KJV‬‬)
And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great, and thou shalt be a blessing.
3. And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.
“Jeremiah‬ ‭29:11‬ ‭(KJV‬‬)
“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”
Job‬ ‭5:19-23‬ ‭(KJV‬‬)
19. He shall deliver thee in six troubles: Yea, in seven there shall no evil touch thee.
20. In famine he shall redeem thee from death: And in war from the power of the sword.
21. Thou shalt be hidden from the scourge of the tongue: Neither shalt thou be afraid of destruction when it cometh.
22. At destruction and famine thou shalt laugh: Neither shalt thou be afraid of the beasts of the earth.
23. For thou shalt be in league with the stones of the field: And the beasts of the field shall be at peace with thee.

As a believer, it is important to be aware of that which is written concerning you in the Scriptures.
Your dominion in God’s Kingdom is predicated on your sound knowledge of His promises, embedded in The Bible.
(Colossians 3:16)
Job 1:10 (KJV)
Hast, not thou made a hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side? thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land.
Your conviction of God’s promises in the Bible should reflect in your speaking and response to negative circumstances in your life.
Two Spiritual Principles that Governs Engaging the Right Keys to Open Doors:
2. The Faith to engage the promises so that they deliver. Faith is Obedience.
(Luke 1:45, Job 36:11, Isaiah 1:19, Deuteronomy 28:1-12, Genesis 12:3)
Obedience to God’s Word is the only way to commit God’s integrity to perform on your behalf.
No amount of spiritual sacrifice will substitute for the place of obedience
1 Samuel 15:22-23, Psalm 1:3, Genesis 4:6-8, Psalm 121:1-2
Make a commitment to praying Scripture-based prayers and speaking the Word of God in faith over your life and destiny, on a daily basis.
This is a requirement for living a life that brings glory to God.
Acts 4:33, Genesis 24:1, Genesis 21:1-2, Colossians 1:16, Esther 2:15, Daniel 12:3, Luke 5:1-6
Isaiah 54:1 (KJV)
Sing, O barren, thou that didst not bear; break forth into singing, and cry aloud, thou that didst not travail with child: for more are the children of the desolate than the children of the married wife, saith the LORD.
When faced with a certain challenge, as a Believer, saturate your atmosphere with Scriptural declarations: listen to audio versions of and read scriptures specific to your challenge. Don’t pray arbitrary prayers.
In God’s Kingdom, no one rises to certain heights by mistake.
There are spiritual mysteries that are engaged to birth results in the physical realm.
As a believer, it is pertinent to take a Word-based approach to your decision-making and inculcate faith-based declarations into your daily routine.
