How to engage the light for the profiting and the overall excelling of the believer,

The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple (Psalm 119:130)

The Bible consists of these 3 things

1. Promises – God’s commitment to you
2. Principles of the Kingdom ( modus operandi of the land)
3. Prophecies that guide a believer’s destiny

Ephesians 1:3 KJV, 1 Corinthians 2:11-12 KJV, 2 Peter 1:2-4 KJV

You cannot excel in this kingdom outside a relationship and partnership with Jesus.

Ephesians 6:10 KJV, Ephesians 6:10 AMP 

Your empowerment is a product of your union.

2 Implication of redemption

1. United in Christ by his spirit. togetherness. oneness with Christ.
2. Our positional advantage

The most defeated believer and the most effective believer have the same heritage in Christ as far as redemption is concerned. The difference is the ability to engage the light.

A few promises found in the Bible:

1. Deuteronomy 28:1-13 KJV.
2. Isaiah 43:1-2 KJV.
3. Job 22:29 KJV
4. Psalm 91:7 KJV
5. Job 36:11 KJV

For the promises to come true in your life, you need:

1. The ministry of the teaching priest. Jeremiah 3:15 KJV, Acts 20:20;27-32 KJV

Why are believers not living in these promises and living defeated lives

1. The truth of the scripture needs to be engaged with knowledge, understanding, and with faith. It is understanding that makes the soil of your heart productive

Steps that convert these blessings (spiritual realities) from to be true here and now in the life of a believer

1. You need the knowledge of the spiritual provisions that are available in Christ. Jeremiah 29:11 KJV. God is touched by the feelings of our infirmities, but he only responds to his word. The difference between foolishness and faith is that faith is based on what God said. It is a risk to live your life based on cultural and sociological sentiments. John 15:16 KJV. Mark 11:24 KJV.
2. You must press to know the conditions connected to the manifestation of the promises. Conditions connected to every scripture blessings Proverbs 13:15 KJV
   1. Honor
   2. Services
      There 2 kinds of knowledge
      1. The knowledge of the promises the blessings
      2. The knowledge of the conditions
         Something you are yet to do is why you are where you are
3. The faith to engage the promises so that they deliver. Isaiah 1:19 KJV, Job 36:11 KJV. Obedience to God’s word is the only way to commit God’s integrity to performance. No amount of sacrifice will substitute for the place for obedience. Your faith (obedience) is your partnership with God to make his promises good in your life. Exodus 3:21 KJV, Number 23:19 KJV. The secret to change is engaging light.
