Being Lonely vs Being Alone

Being Lonely vs Being Alone

For a long time, I couldn’t differentiate the difference between being lonely and being alone. I used to think that both meant the same thing until I started getting close to God and realized that when you have God, you can never be lonely. Because God is your everything and when you have God, you have everything. They both might look the same but they are not the same.
Even in the Bible in Genesis 2:18 KJV, God said:

And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.

Adam was not lonely because he had a close relationship with God, and he was also busy attending to the work God as for you. Adam didn’t even know he was alone because he was already fulfilled with everything God had given to him and all that he had. It was God that said he would make Adam an help meet because God didn’t design anyone to be alone.
When you have God you can never be lonely, you can be alone yes like Adam was before God made him an help meet but you can never be lonely because God is inside of you, God is with you and God will always be there for you.
