Things to Look Out For Before You Marry by Apostle Joshua Selman
There are certain things a lady must find in a man otherwise don’t marry him:
A man that is not God fearing not born again. He can be a faith-filled Christian and not God-fearing.
Faith in God and the fear of God are two different things
To be God-fearing means to:
- To have reverence and respect for God
- To Submit to the ways of God and the word of God as the final authority in all matters
- To be aware of the cost dimension of life. It comes from the heart not through cars or houses.
There are certain things a man must find in a lady otherwise don’t marry her:
1. Any lady who is not God fearing
2. Submission to her husband at all times convenient or not. (Submission is a risk and it is done by faith). Ephesians 5:22-23 KJV.
3. Sacrificial and hospitable.
4. Physical factor.
They are important but they will fade like a leaf. If you are attracted to someone just physically, you are in trouble.
1 Timothy 5:8 KJV
Advice for men
- Be a responsible man. Burden Obligation over someone or something
- Responsibility is an awareness of consequences.
Why people are not responsible
- There indecision over their success and establishment. When you stop making excuses
- Admit your mistakes
- Stop blaming other people for your problems
