Why is it important for us to learn Luke 22:27?
The world has changed and teachers and ministers of the scripture are not reading their Bibles anymore.
Some people are stuck because they don’t know how to honor the anointed.
Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honor to whom honor
Romans 13:7 KJV
Let him that is taught in the word communicate unto him that teacheth in all good things
Galatians 6:6 KJV
1 Timothy 5:17 KJV, John 12:26 KJV
Honor is given not demanded
Give honor because it is Godly and wise for us to give honor
You will be honored if you serve well or do well
He only ministers what his hand can give and not what his heart can teach
A sign of maturity is that your teachers reduce.
We have not learned a reconciliation of Christ the power and the wisdom of God

People can do anything for a breakthrough but nothing for the heart of God.
Proverbs 15:33 KJV – If a man is not instructed in wisdom, no matter the power they possess, he doesn’t have the fear of God.
The communion we should have is communion with God so that we can hear the desires of his heart.

In this kingdom, we ascend by descending.

Every leader has to shift from positioning to influence. Influence is the spirit that wins men over to you. When a man’s heart is one, they yield to your instruction. Psalm 110:3 KJV
Leaders don’t manage people, true leaders manage situations, circumstances and lead people.
People are led not managed.
God wants to love you into the kingdom. He wants to do enough to capture your heart to adore him and say now you are Lord of my life. Jeremiah 31:3 KJV.
There are 3 things that you can do as a leader to Shift from positional to influential
- Invest in yourself
To make sure you are worth your soul. Feed yourself, feed your office.
Invest in yourself - Live by example.
You can’t influence much because you’re not setting an example that’s why.
Nothing teaches like an example. Isaiah 1:3 KJV,1 Peter 5:3 AMP. - Live to add value to men.
Let everyone around you see that you’ve added something to their lives. 1 Peter 5:4-7 AMP
Humility – A place of learning to entirely lean your personality on the God of your salvation. Proverbs 18:12 KJV
Before honor is humility.
Humility is:
- Redemption
- Restoration
- Healing
God wants our hearts.
