The 3 Assignments of Jesus:

  1. To be an explanation and a correction to our understanding of God
Until Jesus manifested, we only knew God in types and shadows and we had to depend on the insights of prophets or individuals who had unique encounters with God to explain God to us.
Jesus came as a marking script, and Jesus came as a reference to help us learn God and to help us know God properly.
Psalm 145:8 KJV – Jesus was gracious, Jesus was compassionate, Jesus was slow to anger and Jesus was rich in love.
Jeremiah 31:3 KJV – Did Jesus Love people? Yes Did Jesus reach out to people? Yes (Matthew 19:14)
Jehovah Jireh – Mark 6:30-43 KJV, Matthew 14:13-21 KJV. The goal was not just compassion, it was to validate that God was a provider.
    God is Merciful
A lying spirit can’t come from God. John 1:14 KJV, Matthew 3:17 KJV
  2. To become an agent of reconciliation. Romans 3:23 KJV
Jesus was sent as a manifestation of the Father’s Love to mankind and creation
Jesus came to reconcile us the world to the Father through himself.
Jesus came as a mediator of the new covenant. Hebrews 9:15 KJV, John 3:16-17 KJV, Matthew 24:14 KJV, Revelation 20:12-15 KJV
  3. He came as a model, a pattern to show us how God intends for us to live and to run this race. Philippians 2:5 KJV

There was a consciousness, There was a mindset, there was an orientation that Jesus had, and that when you look to Jesus, you must be able to draw from him to your life the requisite mindset that makes for a victorious Christian life.

All those mindsets are encapsulated in a mystery called The Four Living Creatures

Revelation 4:2-10 KJV

Everything in the throne room is a reflection of Christ and a reflection of the glory of God.

  1. The Face of a Lion (Revelation 4:7 KJV) – Dominion Royalty Power
It represents kingship, royalty, and dominion. 1 Peter 2:9 KJV
When you are in Christ, the first mindset you must sustain is the mindset of dominion, that you are a king (the mindset of royalty).
Knowing how to speak like Jesus. Ecclesiastes 8:4 KJV, Revelation 5:10 KJV
You become a fearless and confident person, it is an antidote to low self-esteem.
    I AM ROYALTY.
It is not an object it is not animal, it is a mindset.
The side effect of having a royalty mindset alone is pride.
The balance to this mindset is the face of the next creature
  2. The Calf (Revelation 4:7 KJV) – Servanthood translating to humility and the consciousness of service. Ephesians 2:10 KJV, Hebrews 4:15 KJV
The purpose of dominion is servanthood
Having the mindset that no matter how high God lifts me, it is tamed by the consciousness of service. Matthew 20:28 KJV, Mark 10:45 KJV
You also need to learn the heart of a calf (humility) Proverbs 14:4 KJV
The balance to this mindset is the face of the next creature
  3. The Face of a Man (Revelation 4:7 KJV) – Humanity
Your Humanity that you can feel pain, you can be weak you can be tired you can be fatigued, and that it is not unspiritual to have these emotions at one point or the other, but it reminds you that there is an agency that can assist you, the spirit of God.
It reminds you of your humanity. John 1:14 KJV, John 11:35 KJV, Mark 11:12 KJV, Matthew 8:23 KJV, Matthew 21:12-13 KJV
Your humanity is not something to be embarrassed about. Humanity does not mean weakness it must be factored into your knowing Jesus.
The balance to this mindset is the face of the next creature. Romans 8:6 KJV
  4. The Flying Eagle (Revelation 4:7 KJV, Isaiah 40:31 KJV) – Divine Person in partnership with God
I am always extraordinary and supernatural with the help of The Holy Spirit.
Don’t forget the face of the flying eagle so you do not over-pamper your humanity, you remember that I may be weak, but I am not alone and you can call upon the help of the spirit not that we are sufficient in ourself. 2 Corinthians 3:5 KJV
You can fail alone but you and God cannot fail
