The Kind of vessel that can be used by God.

What kind of a believer, or vessel is God looking for?

God will always need a man. Genesis 1:26-28 KJV, Psalm 8:4-6 KJV, Hebrews 2:8-9 KJV, Ezekiel 22:30 KJV, Isaiah 6:1-8 KJV

3 Factors/Requirements/Keys that God must find in an individual to be greatly used by him (2 Timothy 2:19-20 KJV)

1. The Purity of your heart (The state of your heart). The greatest posture that a man can take to secure the attention of God over your life is the state of your heart. 2 Chronicles 25:1-2 KJV. Beyond your activities, God looks at the state of your heart. The heart of man has a voice. When everything is right e.g. your tithing and your giving and yet the result that you follow does not follow, forget the activity and go back to examine the state of your heart. Correcting the activity without correcting your heart is recycling the frustration. Jeremiah 17:9 KJV. No man has the power to make his heart power, you have to allow God to make your heart power.
   The state of your heart vetos:
   1. Your prayer life
   2. Your Fasting
   3. Your Bible Study

Three Strategies that God uses to purify the heart of men:

1. The Furnace of Affliction. James 1:3-4 KJV, Isaiah 43:1-2 KJV.  Everything in God’s economy revolves around his will. God only answers prayer when it has to do with his will. 1 John 5:14 KJV.

When You are a friend of God:

1. Nothing will happen to you. He will take you before anything happens to you.
2. God will not keep you outside of his program

How to be an Enemy of God

1. When you become a consistent interruption to his program even if God ordained you, you automatically become an enemy of God. e.g. Prophet Jonah when he refused to preach to the people of Nineveh. 

Three temptations that all men will go Through like Jesus did were:

1. The temptation of need (Bread). Matthew 4:3 KJV Jesus Answered – Matthew 4:4 KJV
2. Maintaining your spirituality in the face of the greatest. Matthew 4:5-6 KJV. Jesus Answered – Matthew 4:7 KJV.
3. Mountain (Spheres of influence) – Matthew 4:8-9 KJV. Jesus Answered – Matthew 4:10 KJV.
   Your greatest confession of your loyalty for God is not just in your service, it is in your worship.

To surrender means to give God all the glory.

If all I have is Jesus I have something more than gold.

You can fake power but you can’t fake a relationship with God.

The call of God demands 3 aspects of you

1. Your Heart
2. Your Mind
3. Your feet for direction

3 Factors/Requirements/Keys that God must find in an individual to be greatly used by him (2 Timothy 2:19-20 KJV)

2. Intensional pursuit of light. John 1:5 KJV, Genesis 1:2-3 KJV.

Your efficiency and your excelling in ministry is based on the kind of light that you have and that you can prove.

Light is not a gift. It is your responsibility to press for light.

How to receive light according to the Bible:

1. The entrance of thy word giveth light and understanding unto the simple. Psalm 119:130 KJV
2.  By the lamp and get those that sell to buy oil to keep the lamp burning. Matthew 25:3 KJV
3.  Look for someone who’s candle is shining and sit down in the room there. Because you can use the light of another and you can see while you learn.

Contend for High-level spiritual illumination. Doctrine sounds alongside with grace. Jeremiah 3:15 KJV

6 Knowledge you must have if you want to be greatly used by God:

You must know and understand Man as the zenith of God’s creation. In all your knowing if you don’t understand man, you will live a defeated life. Psalm 8:4 KJV

1. You must know God. John 17:3 KJV
2. You must know yourself in light of who Christ is
3. You must know your role in destiny and in God’s prophetic program
4. You must have the knowledge of the mysteries and the principles of the kingdom (the modus operandi of the kingdom) (How results are obtained God’s way) Matthew 13:11 KJV, Psalm 82:5-6 KJV
5. You must understand man as the zenith of God’s creation. Man can make today become your day. e.g. Mark 2:1-12 KJV.
6. You must know your adversary the devil. John 10:10 KJV, Ephesians 6:12-13 KJV

According to scripture, there are 3 doors that satan has to oppress the saints:

1. Covenant

2. Ignorance

3. Disobedience

The most destructive of the three is covenant because it is transgenerational in its operation.
