Introducing Jesus Part 1 (His Person, His Mission) by Apostle Joshua Selman

Revelation creates transition.

Revelation is like a vehicle, it pushes men into the manifestation of prophecy. When God wants to move you forward he brings his light and when that light comes it sustains the ability to cause you to arise and then to shine.

Question 2: What was his mission? why did he come? continued 

Jesus had a three-fold ministry on Earth:

1. Jesus came primarily as an accurate revelation and manifestation of the misunderstood God. 1 Corinthians 13:9 KJV, Jeremiah 31:3 KJV
2. Jesus came to make the life of God that we call Zoe accessible to man by reconciling man to God. Romans 10:9-10 KJV, John 14:12 KJV
3. Jesus came as a model of God’s expectation for man. John 20:21 KJV

1. Yielding ourselves to the word

2. Yielding ourselves to the spirit

3. Yielding ourselves to the ministry of the teaching priests

Question 3: Did he succeed in his mission? and if yes what is the proof?

Did Jesus succeed in correcting our understanding about the misunderstood God? Did Jesus succeed in creating the new and living way for us to now access the life of God? All Men. John 3:16 KJV

Did he succeed in his mission? Yes, he did.

and if yes what is the proof? Colossians 2:13-15 KJV, Ephesians 1:7 KJV

1. Jesus defeated Sin
2. Jesus defeated Satan
3. Jesus defeated Hell
4. Jesus defeated Grave

Any spirit that is not the Holy Spirit or a Holy Spirit is an unclean spirit.

But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. 1 Peter 2:9 KJV

Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus. Philippians 2:5 KJV

There are two things we need:

1. The Nature
2. The Mindset, the consciousness, and the understanding

If you have the nature without the mind of Christ, it will a spiritual reality that you are saved but the experience of the Zoe Life will never be captured in you. John 3:16 KJV, Romans 3:4 KJV

To have the Zoe life doesn’t only depend on having the Life of Christ, it depends on having the mind of Christ

Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart: Ephesians 4:18 KJV

But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. 2 Corinthians 11:3 KJV

A lie is anything God did not say.

The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. John 10:10 KJV

What is Abundant life?

1. Receiving the life of God together with all the benefits
2. That initial translation from the kingdom of darkness into that of his dear son Jesus Christ but together with all the benefits

What are the benefits? Psalm 103:1-5 KJV

1. Who forgiveth all thine iniquities. Psalm 103:3 KJV
2. Who healeth all thy diseases. Psalm 103:3 KJV
3. Who redeemeth thy life from destruction. Psalm 103:4 KJV
4. Who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies (honor). Psalm 103:4 KJV
5. Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s. Psalm 103:5 KJV

Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. Matthew 5:16 KJV

For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. Romans 8:18 KJV

A believer who can bring glory to God is:

1. One who is Born Again
2. One who is Full of Character
3. One who is Full of Wisdom
4. One who is Full of Power
5. One who is Full of Prosperity
6. One who is Full of Favor
7. One who is Full of Influence with purpose and Grace

Proof that Jesus Resurrected? 

And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all. Acts 4:33 KJV

Three Things you must do with God?

1. To Know Him
2. To Love Him
3. To Serve Him

Your pursuit only becomes dangerous to you if it is simply an ambition. The moment you connect any desire to the revelation of Jesus it becomes a profitable desire.

Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts. James 4:3 KJV

14 And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he heareth us: 1 John 5:14 KJV

The assignment of transformation is to turn believers to witnesses,

It is until you become a witness:

1. A validator of God’s claim
2. A promoter and a defender of his interest

There are two kinds of cross that you need to carry:

1. One has been carried to you by Grace
2. The other one you need to carry by yourself

Genesis 28 KJV, Genesis 32 KJV

Then the man said, “Let me go, for it is daybreak.” But Jacob replied, “I will not let you go unless you bless me.” Genesis 32:26 KJV

How do God Bless:

Looking at the life of a man in the Bible called Jacob.

The man asked him, “What is your name?” “Jacob,” he answered. “Your name shall no longer be called Jacob, but Israel, for you have striven with God and with men, and have prevailed.” Genesis 32:27-28 KJV

1. God does something to your life that you can never ignore God and go forward again. You will be ever needing him and yet he calls it a blessing

He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not lift up his soul to what is false, and does not swear deceitfully. He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, And righteousness from the God of his salvation. This is the generation of them that seek him, That seek thy face, O Jacob. Psalm 24:4-6 KJV

The Mandate of God:

1. Receiving the life of God
2. Allowing that life flow to the nations 
3. Allowing that life flow to the people

Do not forget: Everything we pray for everything we seek sincerely is not for the benefit of that thing in itself, it is because it comes as a tool.

This is the correct understanding of:

1. Prosperity
2. Anointing
3. Ministry
4. Growth.

The easiest way to live the Christian life is to focus on revealing Jesus
