One of the most obstacles that stands in the way of the manifestation of the sons of God is poverty lack and destitution.

satan uses poverty to rob people of their God-given sense of human dignity. If you defeat poverty, you can defeat anything.

John 10:10 NKJV

Poverty operates in a vicious cycle.

Poverty constitutes; low income, low savings, low buying power, low investments, low rate of capital formation consequently low productivity.

Types of Income

  1. Wealth
  2. Rich
  3. Middle Class
  4. The working poor
  5. The poor
  6. The destitute poor

If the vicious cycle of poverty is to be broken, then one generation must arise to find external intervention.

How do you break the cycle of poverty?

  1. Invoking the anointing (Isaiah 10:27 NKJV, 2 Kings 4:1 NKJV)
To invoke is to appeal to a higher power
  2. Attach value to what you have (2 Kings 4:2 NKJV)
We spend a lot of time and energy looking for what we don’t have while ignoring what God has already placed at our disposal.
You have to recognize what you have and take it seriously. Anything you have God can use it.
  3. Turn your social networks to economic streams (2 Kings 4:3 NKJV)
Your Network is your net worth.
If you do something with what you have, you’ll be amazed by what God can do.
One way to utilize your network is to borrow wisely. If you know how to return it borrow, if you don’t know how to return it, don’t borrow.
Use the networks that you have for economic streams.
Borrow only when you know how to pay.
  4. Retreat, think smart, and work hard (2 Kings 4:4 NKJV)
Ask yourself why am I not growing.
You will not break out of this cycle by lazing around. Find a way to do something.
  5. Turn your ideas into an enterprise (2 Kings 4:7 NKJV)
