Part 1: Fully Persuaded (Cultivating The Faith That Work) by Apostle Selman

Breathe Upon by Apostle Selman

Matthew 4:16 KJV

Mark 9:19-27 KJV

  • A man can cry for help and that God would do something about your state of unbelief

Four Rules That Govern Potent Faith That Works:

1. Faith that produces, faith that works must be a product of encounters
An encounter is an experience (usually supernatural) that makes a person a thought or a thing real to you

Three Platforms For Experiencing Encounters:

  • Prayer
  • Heartfelt Worship
  • The Study of Scripture. Job 42:5 KJV

You can forget the things you hear but you cannot forget the things that you see

Most people do not have firm convictions because what they call faith was not derived from encounters

You have to have an experience that is greater than the obstacles that will stand before you

Exodus 3:1-5 KJV, Exodus 5:1 KJV

When you meet the God of the Bible, fear dies.

Genuine faith is a product of encounters in the place of prayer, a spirit to spirit communication, encounters in the place of worship, an encounters as you study the Bible (Your understanding is broadened, your conviction is strengthened)

2 Corinthians 13:14 KJV, Luke 19:30 KJV

You have to see a God that is bigger than your challenges to have the courage to confront your challenges.

There Are Four Fruits Of Encounters:

  • Conviction
  • First a revelation of the true state of your heart and then the conviction, the revelation of God’s love, the revelation of God’s power or might.
Conviction from a place of encounter.
Most people doubt because they have not met the God of the Bible.
Life will ask you who sent you. 2 Timothy 1:12 KJV
Any believer who genuinely wants to have encounters
An encounter is a reaction it does not just happen, encounters are atmosphere-dependent, you must invest in creating the atmospheres that allow for encounters.
    1. The Atmosphere of Prayer
The atmosphere of consistent prayer. Acts 13:2 KJV
    2. The Atmosphere of Worship. 2 Chronicles 7:1-2 KJV, 2 Chronicles 5:14 KJV, 1 Kings 8:11 KJV
    3. Placing Value on The Word of God. Deuteronomy 28:1 KJV

Pay the price this year in righteousness, stay with God until he becomes real to you.

Jeremiah 32:17 KJV, Isaiah 60:1-2 KJV

It is a risk to be prayerless. Luke 18:1 KJV

Exodus 15:20-27 KJV, Exodus 14:13-15 KJV, Psalm 65:4 KJV

Most times, we are too distracted to hear him, too distracted to know him

You must prune your activities in this season and know him more than you know your problems and the challenges

We become known when we are known by him

It is one thing for you to know God, it’s another thing for God to know you. That knowing both ways must happen if you must carry power. Acts 19:15 KJV

  • Illumination

Encounters grant you access to illumination (enlightenment)
The eyes of your understanding being enlightened.

  • Instructions (Exodus 25:22 KJV)

Encounters are places or platforms to allow for instructions, it’s in the place of encounters that you receive the instruction that can redefine the next 10 years of your life. Isaiah 30:21 KJV

God is everywhere but his manifest presence is not everywhere, his manifested presence responds to hunger

Babu wani kamar Ka by Apostle Joshua Selman

There are many things you are looking for that can only be found in his presence.

The presence of God has time redemption value, is not a waste, there is speed when we wait. Isaiah 40:31 KJV

The secret to intimacy is time.

– Invest time in His Glory
– Invest time in His Presence
– Invest time in Prayer

Romans 10:12 KJV

Four Rules That Govern Potent Faith That Works:

2. You Must Understand The Concept of God’s Will and God’s Plan

The Gospel of Salvation

The Gospel of Salvation reveals Jesus as Savior and the end point of that gospel is salvation from sin and eternal damnation

  • It reveals the Father’s Love through the substitutionary sacrifice of Jesus and when you do believe that report is death burial and resurrection, you receive of the life of God, you are saved from sin and eternal damnation

The Gospel of The Kingdom

  • When you come into the reality of the gospel of the kingdom, Jesus is no longer the savior he is Lord and King, and the rules of operation, the modus operandi
  • One of the laws of the kingdom is that everything around the kingdom revolves around the will of the king. Matthew 6:10 KJV

2 Chronicles 29:11-12 KJV, Hebrews 13:20-21 KJV, Hebrews 10:35-36 KJV

There are rules of engagement, your desire must be within the circumference of the Will of God. You have to understand the concept of the will of God. Psalm 143:10 KJV, Hebrews 10:7 KJV, Luke 22:42 KJV

Bible faith is governed by the jurisdiction of God’s will.

God is not committed to bringing just any desire to pass

Mark 11:24 KJV

  • The economy of the kingdom revolves around the will of the king.

The first assignment of a mature believer is to investigate the will of God before you begin declarations.

One of the definition of praying a miss is praying outside of the scope of the will of God.

God has a plan and a purpose for every man. Jeremiah 29:11 KJV

There Are Two Dimensions To The Plan of God:

  1. The General Plan of God For All Men
God’s desire for all men. 1 Timothy 2:4 KJV
  2. The Unique Plan of God. Jeremiah 1:5 KJV, Jeremiah 1:10 KJV, Acts 26:12-18 KJV
You must know the will of God for your life.

Confidence in our faith work is a product of knowing that you are in the center of the will of God

When you know you are at the center of God’s will, it emboldens your confidence. Colossians 4:12 KJV

The believer’s work of faith is a journey of searching out, knowing, and aligning with God to birth his will, his plans, and his purposes for his life.

Using faith as an instrument to meet needs is only the secondary assignment of faith.

The primary assignment of faith is to be used as a platform to help you search out, to help you know, and to help you align with God to manifest his plans and his purpose for your life.

You cannot be a giant of faith amiss.

The primary assignment of faith is to connect the believer and to birth the unique plan of God for your life.

Using faith to meet needs is only a secondary assignment of faith

Isaiah 6:1 KJV

When God steps into any life you start from ground zero

Four Rules That Govern Potent Faith That Works:

3.  Only Activated Faith Delivers Result, dormant faith cannot deliver results

How To Activate Your Faith:
1. You speak the word and you obey all the instructions connected to the results you desire. Instructions that have come from scripture or come from your intimate time with the Holy Spirit

Faith does not work until it is activated, only activated faith delivers results.

4. Patience. Hebrews 6:15 KJV, Hebrews 6:12 KJV, Hebrews 10:36 KJV

There are many blessings that are connected to seasons, you can’t rush them.

There are certain things that subscribe to the law of time and seasons

One of the ways to deal with impatience is Joy
