Harvest Gathering Part 1 (Mandate of The Nations) by Apostle Joshua Selman
Harvest Gathering Part 1 (Mandate of The Nations)|| Day 1 || Morning Session || Leicester UK || Apostle Joshua Selman
And I went up by revelation and communicated unto them that gospel which I preach among the Gentiles, but privately to them which were of. Galatians 2:2 KJV
You go up my revelation.
The program of God is threefold:
- There is what he is doing as far as the world of unbelievers is concerned (unique program for the unbelievers)
- There is what he is doing for the Church (unique program for the Church)
- There is what he is doing for the Nations (unique program for the Nations (society and territory))
Of these three, the most important in order of priority is God’s program to the lost
Three scriptures that explain the great commission:
- Mark 16 (Preach the gospel)
- Matthew 28 (Disciple/teaching nations)
- Acts 1 (Witness)
The value of empowerment is that it came upon minds that are transformed.
When you are saved, the part of call is the journey of transformation
Transformation happens when three forces are made available in your life:
- The force of the Word
- The ministry of the Holy Spirit
- The Ministry of the Teaching Priest. Acts 8:26-40 KJV
After transformation is when you are a witness and can now be sent to the nations.
God calls you to himself and then sends you to the nations
1 Timothy 2:1-4 KJV
- All men be saved
- Those who are now saved should come unto the knowledge of the truth
John 3:1-17 KJV
Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest Matthew 9:37-38 KJV
In the mind of God, anyone who is not saved and have not come into the knowledge of God is the harvest
Every unsaved person (every person who is yet to acknowledge the lordship of Jesus over their lives) in the mind of God is called the harvest
The mandate of World Evangelization (reaching the lost) is God’s most important priority right now in the heart of God and should be the most important priority and pursuit for every believer
A Laborer is someone whom God finds and has gone through training, building, and accrediting before God sends the person
The Mandate of World Evangelization
The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. 2 Peter 3:9 KJV
Acts 2:29-41 KJV
Those who truly love God are, those who actively participate in bringing to fulfillment this desire that all should be saved and none should be lost.
Your relevance in this end time will depend on how much you are part of God’s program.
I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD. Psalm 118:17 KJV
He suffered no man to do them wrong: yea, he reproved kings for their sakes. Psalm 105:14 KJV
He said to them, “When I sent you out without purse, wallet, and sandals, did you lack anything?” They said, “Nothing.” Luke 22:35 KJV
There are 3 things every laborer must have with respect to the harvest:
- Every laborer must know where the harvest is (The field is). The entire earth is the field.
- Every laborer must understand the system or the act of harvesting itself. In this kingdom, Harvest is done with respect to soul winning, the way you harvest is to understand the message and to know how to communicate it.
- Every laborer must know that you are not just a laborer, you are a co-laborer and you are working in partnership with one called the lord of the harvest. His presence has an effect on your efficiency.
The Lord of the harvest is not God, The Lord of the harvest is not Jesus, The Lord of the harvest is the Holy Spirit.
13. When Jesus came to the region of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, “Who do people say the Son of Man is?”They replied, “Some say John the Baptist; others say Elijah; and still others, Jeremiah or one of the prophets.”“But what about you?” he asked. “Who do you say I am?” Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.”Jesus replied, “Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by my Father in heaven. And I tell you that you are Peter,[a] and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades[b] will not overcome it. I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be[c] bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be[d] loosed in heaven.” Then he ordered his disciples not to tell anyone that he was the Messiah. Matthew 16:13-20 KJV
There is a threefold revelation about Jesus Christ that everyone must know to be saved:
- You must know him as Savior
- You must know him as Lord
- You must know him as Christ
What does it mean for Jesus to be Savior?
What does it mean for Jesus to be Lord?
What does it mean for Jesus to be Christ?
There is a threefold revelation about Jesus Christ that everyone must know to be an effective laborer:
- Jesus as Savior. Luke 19:10 KJV, Titus 2:12 KJV
Revelation that has to do with Jesus as Savior is His Love and Forgiveness. (The power to forgive). Romans 5:8 KJV
When it has to do with the harvest, the name of the sickle is called Love. Ezekiel 18:20 KJV, John 19:30 KJV, 1 Corinthians 2:8 KJV, Colossians 2:15 KJV, Revelation 1:18 KJV, Ephesians 4:8 KJV
Because Christ is ageless, your atonement is ageless. - Jesus as Lord. Philippians 2 KJV
The revelation of his dominion. Dominion is in the realm of knowing him as Lord. Matthew 10:7-8 KJV, Ephesians 2:6 KJV, Psalm 24:1 KJV
Your lordship is not absolute, your lordship is derived, and it only functions under submission. - Jesus as Christ. Philippians 4:13 KJV
The Greek word for Christ is Christos which means:
1. The Anointed
2. The empowerment that comes with him.
The revelation of Jesus has Christ does something to you and gives you capacity, it strengthens your weakness. Luke 24:49 KJV
When you know Jesus as Christ, there is a spirit that comes to honor that revelation, he’s called the spirit of God. John 16:13 KJV, Acts 1:8 KJV, Psalm 18:29 KJV, Matthew 10:16 KJV
Antenna with multiple mandates:
- To bring this harvest
- To help the discouraged laborers, to show them how to hold the sickle, to show them the skill required. 2 Timothy 2:5 KJV, Jeremiah 3:15 KJV
Blessed be the LORD my strength which teacheth my hands to war, and my fingers to fight. Psalms 144:1 KJV
To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God. Ephesians 3:10 KJV
Pray: I desire to be a laborer
Pray: Father teach my hands to war and my fingers to fight
