Being Outside of the Will of God

Being Outside of the Will of God

Being outside of the will of God is not somewhere a believer wants to be outside of.

This is something that Jesus knew when he said:

“My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from me; yet, not as I will, but as you will.” Matthew 26:39

Jesus knew that outside of God’s will, there is no protection. That is why as a believer, you need to always be in God’s will so that you can get the full protection that comes with being in God’s will.

John The Baptist was someone who was in God’s will but strayed away after he got involved in activities that were not what God asked him to participate in. Mark 6:17-29 KJV

He got offended because after he was put in prison, he thought Jesus would come to his aid and rescue him. Matthew 11:3 KJV.

You can’t be outside of God’s will and get upset when God doesn’t come to your aid. God doesn’t involve himself with things that he did not start in the first place.

That is why Jesus said in Matthew 11:11 KJV:

“I tell you the truth, of all who have ever lived, none is greater than John the Baptist. Yet even the least person in the Kingdom of Heaven is greater than he is!
